| Efficacy and Effect | 1. The following systemic fungal infections sensitive to this drug: cryptococcosis, North American Blastomycosis, sporadic candidiasis, coccidioidomycosis, aspergillosis, mucormycosis and American mucocutaneous leishmaniasis 2. Fever of unknown origin in neutropenic patients (persistent fever of unknown origin which is not improved even after 96-hour treatment with antibiotics) 3. Primary treatment of visceral leishmaniasis in immunocompetent adults and children 4. Primary treatment of visceral leishmaniasis in immunocompromised patients (HIV-positive patients etc.) |
